Hello neighbors, happy December! The weather has been chilly as of late, so if you have someone in your life who is struggling with paying their utility bill, the LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance program) application is now OPEN until April 5, 2025. Someone from my office would be happy to help you or a loved one apply to lower your energy bill!

November has come and gone. Did you enjoy all that turkey and gravy? I’m certain many of our readers are feeling especially sleepy after such a meal.

On Oct. 15, the Northside|North Shore Chamber of Commerce’s workforce program, Northside Works!, kicked off a Digital Literacy Program in collaboration with WIN-Spirations, Inc. and One Northside. A celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony was held before the start of the program with the leaders of each partner organization, Rep. Emily Kinkead, Brennan Coleman of Rep. Lindsay Powell’s office, and several board members for the chamber and WIN.
