Another year of promoting, connecting, and supporting Northside businesses!

The Northside North Shore Chamber serves the business community in and around the Northside and has been doing so since 1897. We currently have 360 member businesses, and we serve them by promoting, connecting, and supporting.

Here are some of our recent activities and updates.

 

Members

Renewed members: The following 11 companies or organizations renewed their investment in the past month: Café Momentum Pittsburgh, FSA Consulting, The Government Center, Green Light Wireless, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburgh North Shore, Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore, OHL Insurance & Financial Services, PA State Representative — District 20 (Emily Kinkead), Pittsburgh City Council — District 1 (Bobby Wilson), Tequila Cowboy, and Voodoo Brewing Co — Pittsburgh Pub.

New members: We were pleased to welcome the following nine companies or organizations as new members in the past month: Achieva, Anser Advisory, Carmody & Ging LLC, CFP Cafe N Truck, Collective Boutique Café, Nolen Painting and Decorating, Partner4Work, Safe Moves for Seniors, and Youthplaces.

 

‘Going to Bat for Small Business’

For the past five years, Executive Director Gina Grone has been a proud participant of the selection committee for the “Going to Bat for Small Business” program, in which the Pirates partner with PNC to award six local businesses a marketing package valued up to $100,000 and a $5,000 grant.

Since the program started in 2020, the following Northside businesses have been beneficiaries of the program:

  • North Shore Tavern (2020)
  • Priory Fine Pastries (2020)
  • Wagsburgh (2020)
  • Bistro To Go (2021)
  • Concrete Rose Construction (2021)
  • Happy Day Dessert Factory (2021)
  • Fulton Commons (2022)
  • Live Fresh Juicery (2023)

The Northside Chamber has regular events that are open to the public. Whether you’re interested in networking or just want to see the event space, we invite you to join us!

  • March 12, 8 to 9:30 a.m. — Coffee & Contacts (morning networking) — CCAC Workforce Center – $0-10
  • March 28, 5:30 to 7 p.m. – In Your Business (happy hour networking) — Verdetto’s — $20-30
