Letter to the Editor: A different solution to Riverview deer

To whom it may concern, I know there are a lot of deer in Riverview Park and they eat all the vegetation. They are coming into the city neighborhoods and eating everything. Other animals are coming in Riverview Park. A couple years ago I saw a small bobcat in Highwood Cemetery. I thought it was just a cat until it ran into the woods. Other animals are coming into Riverview Park because they are tearing all the wood down and the animals have nowhere to go.

I do not know if it’s true or not. My brother planted strawberries and put a fence around them. Deer ate them. Someone told him to put human hair around them. He did and the deer and rabbits stayed away. Maybe go around to barbershops and put around flowers.

-Paul Lichauer
