Still need ingredients for a quarantini? Here are some options near the Northside.
Wigle Whiskey in the Strip and Threadbare Cider and Mead in Spring Garden are temporarily opening drive-through services following state closures of liquor stores and dine-in-services.

It seems like Pennsylvania residents are running out of options for buying booze.
In order to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19, the state ordered bars and restaurants to shut down dine-in services for the next two weeks on March 15. This was soon followed by the closure of all state liquor stores Tuesday night.
But there are still a few ways that Pittsburgh residents can purchase the necessary materials for a “quarantini,” or any other stiff drink to enjoy while social distancing. Grocery stores that carry beer and wine may still sell during the shutdown, and several breweries and distilleries in the area are offering “drive-through” services.
One option near the Northside is Wigle Whiskey, which is hosting a “Burger and A Bottle” event Wednesday night, according to a press release. The distillery is turning their Strip district location into a drive-through and selling Wigle burgers paired with a side of chips and a bottle of their Old Fashioned for $45 each.
“Each order will ensure that we can continue paying our staff during this time,” the press release said.
Attendees must purchase tickets at Wigle Whiskey’s website beforehand for one of the three pickup times between 5:30-6:30 p.m.. Staff members will bring orders to customers’ cars.
The distillery’s location is also open for carry-out orders, where it is only completing “paperless and touchless” transactions, according to the press release. Customers can also order delivery.
There’s also a Northside-specific option on Thursday, March 19: Threadbare’s “Drive Thru Pizza & Cider” event. Once you reserve your pizza and cider order online for $30, you’ll pick it up in the Spring Garden Avenue parking lot anytime between 5 and 7:30 p.m. Cider-only pickup is $18. The event also includes limited bottle pick-up.
