Observatory Hill House Tour set for June 24

Observatory Hill’s annual House Tour returns Sunday, June 24 showcasing 11 homes including a California bungalow

Observatory Hill’s self-guided walking tour is back for another installment of renovated homes in the Northside neighborhood.

This year’s tour will feature 11 homes, along Perrysville Avenue, Orleans Street and Watson Boulevard. Many of the homes on this year’s tour were originally constructed in the late 19th and early 20th century. The tour will begin on Riverview Avenue and head south near “Judge’s Row,” showcasing a number of homes that sit across from Riverview Park on Perrysville Avenue.

Last year’s event had over 600 attendees and featured a number of food trucks and vendors. This year’s tour will feature a “family-friendly” block party on Delaware Street, according to Bonnie Kwolek, co-chair of the Observatory Hill House Committee.

Featured homes include:

  • 6 homes on Perrysville Avenue

  • 3 homes on Orleans Street

  • 1 home on Delaware Street

  • 1 home on Watson Boulevard

Advanced tickets are $15, $18 the day of the tour. Interested parties can purchase tickets online or call at 412-736-2489 for more information.
