Labor Day weekend flag-raising ceremony at Steelworkers Tower

On September 1, 2017 elected officials and local residents of Steelworkers Tower in Brighton Heights particiapted in a flag raising ceremony in honor of military veterans ahead of Labor Day weekend. Current Steelworkers Tower residents who served in the military were awarded commemorative plaques in honor of their service. State Representative Jake Wheatley, Mayor Bill Peduto, Councilwoman Harris and a representative for Congressman Mike Doyle were in attendance.
