It’s almost summer, folks! Sunnier days are on the horizon, and I’m grateful to see neighbors exploring the community, supporting local businesses, and embracing all that District 21 has to offer. While we get ready to swap our winter gear for summer attire, I want to take a moment to highlight some notable services from my office.

Happy spring neighbors! The days are longer, and the weather is warmer — looks like Punxsutawney Phil was not very accurate in his prediction this year. I’m excited for District 21 to enjoy the spring, especially because our office has plenty of services to offer.

The weather has been chilly as of late, so if you have someone in your life who is struggling with paying their utility bill, the LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance program) application is now OPEN until April 5, 2025. Someone from my office would be happy to help you or a loved one apply to lower your energy bill!

Hello neighbors, happy October! We’re meeting again in Harrisburg this month to continue the work our voters elected us to do – address rising costs, increase public safety, and protect the rights of all our neighbors.

Happy September! The air is finally cooling, tailgates are in full swing, and I’m back in Harrisburg to advance legislation that will support affordable housing, create green jobs in sustainable energy, and expand access to healthcare.

Happy August! I hope everyone has had a beautiful and fun summer so far filled with ice cream, pool time, and latenight activities.

Happy July! These past few weeks have been hot, so please seek cooling stations or air conditioning if you’re able. A full list of the City of Pittsburgh’s cooling stations at their Healthy Active Living Centers is available on the city’s website.
