Chamber Update: December 2023

The Northside North Shore Chamber serves the business community in and around the Northside and has been doing so since 1897. We currently have 350 member businesses, and we serve them by promoting, connecting, and supporting.

Here are some of our recent activities and updates.

New chamber employee

Please join us in welcoming Quinn Kirby as the chamber’s Manager of Strategic Initiatives. They will focus on projects within our targeted initiatives — workforce development (NorthSideWorks!), marketing/ tourism, public safety, permitting/zoning, and more!

Quinn brings two years of creative project management and community building to our team and is excited to support the legacy of the Northside. After hours, you may run into them at one of our Northside cafés or while they’re chasing the sunlight on a photo walk. Exchange a wave with them next time you walk by our office!

Northside holiday guide

Shop small this holiday season! To help you do, we worked with the Northside Leadership Conference to create a holiday guide! It’s filled with information about local businesses, including special holiday hours, gift ideas, and holiday events.

To see the guide, scan the QR code in this column, visit bit.ly/3QPjuqv, or pick it up at many of our area businesses during the month of December!

All 30 of the businesses included in the guide are valued members of the Northside North Shore Chamber and will be featured in promotions throughout the month!

Upcoming event

We have one last networking event in 2023. Join us!

  • Dec. 12, 8 a.m. — Coffee & Contacts at Carnegie Science Center Learn more about the chamber by visiting our website (northsidechamberofcommerce.com), contacting us at (412) 231-6500 or at info@northsidechamberofcommerce.com, or stopping into our office on Middle Street in Deutschtown.
