See the runners up for the Cutest Pet Photo Contest

By Sean P. Ray | Managing Editor

Earlier this month, we unveiled the winner of The Northside Chronicle’s Cutest Pet Photo Contest. Claiming victory was Amy Shreckengost, with her dog Reggie.

Well now it is time to see the runners up. We’ve collected the five pets who got the closest to challenging Reggie’s victory. While a dog may have won the contest overall, there are quite a few cats in the runners up category.

The captions of each photo list the photo submitter, their Northside neighborhood and their pet’s name.

Check out the runners up below:

Second Place, 23 votes: Claire and Zane, Allegheny City Central, Max

Third Place, 13 votes: Nikki Wiser, formerly of Manchester, Stubbs

Fourth Place, 9 votes: Jeremy Lawler, Observatory Hill, Samson

Tied for Fifth Place, 8 votes: Stacy Berk, Brighton Heights, Ralphie Barker

Tied for Fifth Place, 8 votes: Cathleen, Mexican War Streets, Vito
