Chamber Update: May 2023

From Gina Grone – Executive Director, Northside North Shore Chamber of Commerce

The Northside North Shore Chamber serves the business community in and around the Northside and has been doing so since 1897. We currently have 300 member businesses, and we serve them by promoting, connecting and supporting.

Here are some of our recent activities and updates.

Meet the team

At the chamber, we pride ourselves on being an approachable team that is genuinely dedicated to serving our members and the community.

  • Our Executive Director, Gina Grone, brings a wealth of experience in marketing and strategy to the chamber. Over the past five years, she has worked hard to deliver value to every single chamber member, no matter the industry or company size. She and her 8-year-old daughter live in the Northside, so you might see them biking along the North Shore Trail or having a picnic in one of the parks.
  • Ellie Wentz, operations and NorthSideWorks! coordinator, has a background in case management and teaching. This experience helps her to plan fun networking events, run the chamber’s workforce program, and manage the chamber’s social media presence. She thinks Taco Tuesday should be every day and will talk to anyone at anytime about horror movies!
  • Member Relations Manager Patrick Bendel’s experience in the staffing and non-profit industries helps us to connect with businesses and organizations throughout the area. His knowledge of sports carries the team (pun intended), he’s a self-professed Kennywood historian, and he’s the proud founder of the Door Holders Association!

Together, we are committed to making a positive impact and fostering the growth and success of the Northside business community.
