Pathways in Healthcare

One pathway that NorthSideWorks! has identified as a focus is healthcare. An upcoming activity with the healthcare pathway is a career exploration event hosted by Highmark and Allegheny Health Network.

At the “Pathways in Healthcare” event on March 21, running from 5 to 8 p.m. at Allegheny General Hospital, attendees will learn about opportunities in healthcare. An overview of the field will be presented, attendees will rotate to tables with various departments and employees and there will be time to meet with recruiters, training organizations, and service providers. Free dinner will be provided.

The event will provide valuable information for anyone ages 16+ who is interested in learning about career options in healthcare. You’ll find value whether you’re ready to work now, interested in a training program in the near future or want to learn about future opportunities.

RSVP at https://bit.ly/pathwaysinhealthcare. RSVP by March 14 to be entered into a raffle for a $100 Giant Eagle gift card.

If you have any questions, contact Ellie Wentz at the Northside Chamber office, at ellie@ northsidechamberofcommerce.com or at (412) 231-6500.
