In the job market?
NorthSideWorks! is the chamber’s workforce development initiative. One of its goals is to connect good people to good jobs by sharing information about opportunities. For residents, there are several resources to note, all available at northsidechamberofcommerce.com/ community/northsideworks/.
l Resident Resource Guide — This guide provides information about job search, service organizations, barrier assistance programs, and training resources.
l NorthSideWorks! Digital Resource Hub — From established partnerships and ongoing research, the NorthSideWorks! team compiles information about jobs, workforce events, and training programs. This information is available in a continuously-updated online resource.
l Personal Outreach — A list of links and information oftentimes isn’t enough and you want to have a conversation. The NorthSideWorks! team is available to discuss resources, needs and opportunities. Contact Ellie Wentz, Program Coordinator, at ellie@northsidechamberofcommerce. com.
We also send out a weekly email that notes events and programs that we think might be of interest. Sign up at eepurl. com/c88dqD to receive the newsletter.
