Fineview, Perry Hilltop citizens councils executive director steps down

Fineview Citizens Council and Perry Hilltop Citizens Council are seeing a change in leadership, after executive director Joanna Deming stepped down from her role on Jan. 19.

In a Jan. 12 press release, the organizations announced that Nancy Noszka will serve as interim director while they search for a permanent holder of the position. Noszka has served as the community real estate director with the organizations for the past two years.

Deming had held the director position for six years, including guiding the councils through a two-year planning initiative to establish “a shared vision between the two community organizations,” according to the release.

“It has been an honor to work with my neighbors to bring about positive community change,” Deming is quoted as saying in the release. “I am incredibly proud of the work we have done.”

Noszka said she is looking forward to “building on the foundation” Deming and the board members have established.
