Renderings of a newly planned Workforce Training Center on CCAC’s Allegheny Campus in the Northside were distributed on Nov. 15. The center will be the “cornerstone” of a $65 million workforce development campaign at CCAC Allegheny called “Pioneering Pittsburgh’s New Workforce.”

It’s designed to, according to a press release, “increase access to programs that prepare students for careers in high-demand fields.”

A press conference on the CCAC Allegheny Campus took place on Nov. 18, where Highmark Health presented a lead gift to the campaign of $5 million.
