Sound Series: Princess at The Andy Warhol Museum

Simultaneously gay, straight, queer, masculine and feminine performance duo, Princess, comprised of Alexis Gideon and Michael O’Neill (JD Samson & MEN) use music as the backbone of a multi-disciplinary practice that often explores issues of queerness and the concept of masculinity. Princess embodies the fluidity and coherence between the seemingly contradictory. Tickets are $12. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. For event details, click here.

Craft Night at Commonplace Coffee (Mexican War Streets)

Crafts nights at the Mexican War Streets (MWS) location are on the first Friday of every month. A cozy evening of meeting new people, learning a new skill, and snacking and sipping, from 7 to 9 p.m. March’s theme is Calligraphy. All craft nights are $5 at the door to join, which includes craft supplies, instructions, and snacks. Some craft nights will have additional costs for supplies such as succulents. The evening is now BYOB so you can enjoy your favorite choice of beverage if you’d like. If you would like to order a drink from the coffee bar, please try to come before 7 to help out our baristas.
