“Stoop is a Verb” Community Night
Artist Oliver Lake interviewed Northside residents, then sampled and mixed phrases from the interviews into the music of this 70-minute jazz show. The show incorporates music, spoken word, vocals and dance. Music is provided by the Oliver Lake Quintet: Yoichi Uzeki on piano, Robert Sabin on bass, Gene Lake on drums and Bruce Williams on alto and soprano sax. Three actors and singers and two dancers from Attack Theatre will also perform.
