Thursday, March 29

Open Mic Night at Scratch F&B

It’s the last Thursday of the month, which means Open Mic Night hosted by Jeremy Caywood at Scratch F&B in Troy Hill. The fun kicks off at 9 p.m. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Trivia at Allegheny City Brewing

Aaron DeLeo is back at ACB for Thursday Night Trivia from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Participants can form teams up to four and prizes will be awarded to the winning teams. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Jags and Elkhound at The Park House

Millvale’s Jenny and the Jags will be performing at The Park House with special guest, Elkhound from 9 p.m. to midnight. The concert is free to attend, for more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Krista’s Cantina’s 8th Anniversary Celebration

Krista’s Cantina in Brightwood is celebrating 8 years of business with a special anniversary celebration from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Krista’s is a 25-and-over establishment. For more information visit the event’s Facebook page.

Shelf Life String Band at Bier’s Pub

Eggwhite Cocktails at Threadbare Cider and Mead

Ever wonder how to make the perfect Whiskey Sour? Threadbare Cider and Mead will be hosting a ‘Make-your-own Eggwhite Cocktail’ session from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants will learn how properly build an eggwhite-infused cocktail. Space 1010 at Allegheny Inn

The Allegheny Inn in Historic Deutschtown is hosting a special public gallery of work from local artists, John Ross and Paula Lysy. The gallery will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will be curator by Robert Miles. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.

National Stop the Bleed Day at AGH

Allegheny General Hospital will be offering classes in life-saving techniques in honor of “Stop the Bleed Day,” which helps promote awareness and procedures for trauma victims, where fatalities often occur due to a loss of blood. AGH will be teaching participants medical procedures to help save a life in a number of life-threatening scenarios. The classes are designed for anyone 12-and-over, but registration is required. Easter Egg Hunt at CityReach Church
