There will be a Pittsburgh Veterans Job Fair with 54 exhibitors recruiting job candidates, including major local organizations such as Highmark Health, PNC, Duquesne Light, GNC, city of Pittsburgh and many others.

The event will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday, March 23 at the Hyundai West Club Lounge at Heinz Field, 100 Art Rooney Ave. The lead sponsor for the job fair is Highmark Health.

The event is free and candidates should bring their resumes and are advised to visit as many booths as possible to explore all available opportunities. It is also advised that candidates have an elevator pitch prepared that includes four elements: an introduction, a brief history of experience, a statement of how that experience best applies, and a request for an interview.

Job candidates can either pre-register on the Recruit Military website or register at the event. The event is organized by Recruit Military.
