“Taking the Temperature” at Neu Kirche on Jan. 26

At 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, Neu Kirche will host “Take the Temperature,” the first event in a series that will focus on the topic of women in the arts in Pittsburgh.

There will be a cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. before the event, and those who wish to attend are encouraged to sign up by clicking here. Admission is free and all are welcome regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

According to the event description, “In our mission to support women in the arts, join us for a series of events designed to address gender imbalance in the arts. This is not just a women’s issue, it’s about human rights. We hope a diverse audience will take part in this discussion on how the arts community can help create a gender-equal world. This is an opportunity to discuss new and existing platforms for female artists, cultural producers and others within the local arts sector.”
