NS/NS Chamber of Commerce 2016 Holiday Gala

On Thursday, December 1 the North Side/North Shore Chamber of Commerce held its annual Holiday Gala at the Priory Grand Hotel. The theme this year: “Putting on the Ritz.”

The night started off with holiday greetings from Scott Pipitone of Pipitone Group and the NS/NSCC Board of Directors President, followed by an invocation from Pastor Ken Turnball of Allegheny Center Alliance Church.

Dressed to impress, a penguin from The Aviary returned to the gala this year. There were also two tickets auctions, a silent auction and door prizes for attendees.

A portion of the proceeds from the event were giving to St. Michaels Food Pantry, and there was also a toy drive for the Urban Impact Foundation throughout the night.

Sponsors included Allegheny Health Network, Pipitone Group, and SSB Bank with a sponsored photo booth. Donations for the event were made by: Aero Tech, Amcom Office Systems, Bernie’s Photo Shop, Breadworks, Camp Bow Wow, Carnegie Science Center, Chateau Cafe & Cakery, Erin Conley, FNB Bank, Frank Jans, Healthy Pet Grooming, James Street Gastropub, Johno’s Art Studio, Kelly O’s Diner, Mattress Factory, Max’s Allegheny Tavern, The Modern Cafe, National Aviary, Nikki’s Thai Kitchen, Northside Community Development Fund, Penn Brewery, Peoples Gas, Peppi’s, Pittsburgh Pirates, Priory Hospitality Group, Rivers Casino, Treasure House Fashions, WesBanco, and Wigle Whiskey.
