Saturday, June 11 marked the second annual United Way fitUnited Day of Action and was held at Fowler Park and Playground, 2900 N. Charles St.

Abby Mathieu, public relations manager for the event, said it was a huge success with about 300 volunteers lending their time to restore the park.
