The Mattress Factory Museum held “Imbibe Northside” event this past weekend, Sat. Jan. 30, featuring samples from local breweries from Allegheny City Brewing, Mexican War Streets Brewery, and Spring Hill Brewery. Live music was provided by the Joel Pace Organ Trio as members and guests gathered to help fundraise and donate $20 towards the museum.

The event, which ran from 6-10 p.m., was packed from door to door for a majority of the night, while all three breweries ran out of samples before the event was officially over. However, that didn’t stop patrons from sticking around for the good music, free food courtesy of PGH Taco Truck and the Cool Beans Food Truck. The event helped bring in a massive amount of fundraising for the museum and helped connect community activists and art supporters.
