East Park flea market set for the season

By Justin Criado

The annual East Park flea market is back for another year.

The Community Alliance of Spring Garden-East Deutschtown now sponsors the Saturday event, which runs through October.

Vendors can start setting up around 8 a.m. and are required to pay a $10 fee each Saturday they participate.

The only dates which the flea market will not be held are May 30 during the Arthritis Walk and whichever October Saturday the annual Pumpkinfest is scheduled for.

There are also plans to feature the Cedar Arts Market on select dates, but nothing has been officially scheduled yet.

For more information please contact community coordinator Velma Burkhart at velmaburkhart@verizon.net or 412-321-4511.
