It’s football season

It’s football season in Western Pa. and for many area players that means playing Old Allegheny Soccer. Over the past weekend, youth teams took to the pitch at Brighton Heights Park, reminding us that football doesn’t necessarily involve tossing a pigskin.

The Chronicle was on hand Satuday, Oct. 11 at Brighton Heights Park to take in some early morning action between four teams from Old Allegheny Soccer’s A and B Leagues. Teams play every Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Jack Stack fields in Brighton Heights Park. For more information on Old Allegheny Soccer visit the official website.
