On Saturday, May 31st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Mexican War Streets Yard Sale will take place neighborhood wide from Brighton Road to Federal Street and North Avenue to Jefferson Street.

Over 40 homes are participating in the yard sale, making it the biggest MWS Yard Sale ever. The day of the sale, look for the houses marked with the red balloons or reference them on the yard sale map, which will be available on the MWS website and at our welcome table on lower Buena Vista Street.

This year the MWS are doing something different. They are using the parking lot on 1210 Buena Vista Street as its Yard Sale Headquarters. Here, visitors will find the Mexican War Streets Society Welcome table where directions and maps will be given out. Visitors will also have a chance to win one of two raffle baskets filled with prizes including tickets to the Annual Mexican War Streets House & Garden Tour. Also at the yard sale headquarters, there will be food trucks and other vendors. Franktuary is one of the vendors in attendance.
