With warmer weather ahead, the Northside Public Safety Committee wants to remind neighbors that crime stats tend to increase in the summer months.
According to Northside Public Safety President David Stacy, observant residents can help drastically increase these numbers simply by knowing their neighborhood, knowing their neighbors and reporting unusual activities.
“A lot of people in our neighborhood speak up, and that’s great,” said Stacy. “But we always need more people reporting what they see.”
