What: Old Allegheny Victorian Christmas House Tour
Where: Allegheny West
When: Dec. 7 and Dec. 8

The Old Allegheny Victorian Christmas House Tour is back again, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Thomas Nast’s Santa Claus. Featuring restored Victorian homes, the tour also has the historic Calvary United Methodist Church, famous for its Louis Tiffany stained glass windows celebrating a 19th Century Christmas.

The tours are personally guided, and are an opportunity to glimpse into a by-gone era and enjoy the warmth of the season. The homes on the tour are lavishly decorated for the holidays; with towering Christmas trees, and pine, holy and mistletoe on stairs and chandeliers.

Part of Rick Sebak’s Emmy Award® winning documentary, Happy Holidays in Pittsburgh, showcasing the finest holidy celebrations in Western Pennsylvania, this tour is a must see!

To purchase tickets, go to the Allegheny West store at http://www.alleghenywest.org/store/
