Above is a map that shows the approved reapportionment for Pittsburgh Public Schools school board members on the Northside.

The adjusted boundaries do not affect or determine what schools children are assigned to, but only what school board members represent each district.

Voting districts 27-10, 27-11 and 27-13 in Brightwood will move from Floyd McCrea’s district to Mark Brentley’s, and voting district 25-7 in Fineview will move from Brentley’s district to the district of Regina Holley.

The seven-member reapportionment commission reapportions the voting districts every 10 years to ensure that the districts are compact and contiguous and that three of the nine districts are predominantly black.
