Celebrating Columbus Day early on the North Shore
A little bit of history is docked on the shores of the Allegheny River and will be here on the Northside until October 4.
Replicas of two of Christopher Columbus’ famous ships, the Nina and the Pinta are open for self-guided tours for the next two weeks along the North Shore trail near the Delmonte building.
Visitors can tour the replica 15th century ships and talk to the sailors who live on board the ships about their journey from Cincinnati from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for students 5 to 16. Children 4 and under, free.
