Friday, April 29
What: Laser Michael Jackson
When: 7 – 7:30 p.m.
Where: Carnegie Science Center
Love Michael Jackson? “Don’t stop till you get enough”…with our newest, family-friendly Laser Michael Jackson show. Filled with vibrant laser colors and the late singer’s greatest hits, the King of Pop comes alive once more with “ABC,” “Beat It,” “Billie Jean,” and more. Come check it out for just $8 ($2 for members!), or pair it with another laser show for $13. It’s “easy as 1, 2, 3!” See any laser show Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 7 pm. What: Volunteer in Riverview Park
When: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Chapel Shelter
Volunteer to help increase the tree population in the North Side’s Riverview Park by planting trees and installing deer protection. We’ll meet at the Chapel Shelter. For more information or to register, visit www.pittsburghparks.org/volunteerdays or call 412-682-7275.

What: March 4 Peace
When: 12 – 4 p.m.
Where: Brighton Road (near Oliver High School)
High school students involved in Pittsburgh Young Leaders Academy (PYLA) invite the Pittsburgh community to join them for the March 4 Peace. Everyone is invited to join the students in bringing awareness to the community about the elevated levels of violence and the dramatic effects violence can have. The students sponsoring the event come from PYLA groups at Brashear, Carrick, Langley, Oliver and Peabody high schools.
