This weekend on the Northside: April 15-17

Brightwood Neighborhood Clean-up
When: April 16, 10 a.m. to noon

Where: Start outside the Cafe ‘n’ Creamery at 2700 Shadeland Ave. and spread out throughout the neighborhood.

Bring gloves, rake and shovel if possible. For more information call the Brightwood Civic Group at 412-732-8152 or Ken Hale at 412-965-9752

Where: Allegheny West, Brighton Heights, Cal-Bride, Central Northside, Deutschtown, Fineview, Manchester, North Shore, Northview Heights, Observatory Hill, Perry Hilltop, Spring Garden, Spring Hill, Troy Hill

What: Citizens Against Litter organizes a Redd Up weekend each year. More than 200 communities region-wide will participate, with an estimated 20,000 volunteers. On Friday, 3,000 students from 30 schools will “Stash the Trash”.
