Calling all current and former steelworkers!

From PCN:

The Pennsylvania Cable Network is currently looking for Pennsylvania steelworkers to share their experiences as part of a new interview series set to pay tribute to those in the steel industry.

If you, a family member or friend has ever worked in one of Pennsylvania’s many steel mills and would like to help PCN preserve this piece of state history through a candid, one-on-one video interview, please contact PCN at 717-730-6000 or by e-mailing brittanymodlesky@pcntv.com. Written letters may be sent to: PCN, ATTN: Pennsylvania Steelworkers, 401 Fallowfield Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.

“Pennsylvania Steelworkers” will pay tribute to those who formerly worked or are currently working in the steel industry through a series of oral histories. Also to be included in this special programming will be tours of steel mills past and present, along with other specialty programs focused on steel and its importance to the Commonwealth.

The special series is scheduled to premiere on the statewide public affairs network during the Labor Day weekend this September.

PCN is a nonprofit, noncommercial news organization created and supported by cable television companies. PCN receives no state or federal funding. Network programming is distributed on more than 150 cable systems in Pennsylvania serving more than 10 million Pennsylvanians in 3.3 million homes. A complete listing of PCN affiliates and network channel designations is available by visiting PCN’s website at www.pcntv.com.
