The playground at Brightwood child care center Providence Connections was burned down by vandals in September, and in order to raise funds to build a new one, the organization is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday at the Penn Brewery.

A Taste of the Neighborhood, Feb. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature food, drinks, live music, door prizes and a silent auction.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and all funds raised will go toward the playground fund.
