Local writer and musician Lisa A. Miles will give a lecture and book signing before the Mexican War Streets Society’s board elections on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church on W. North Avenue.
Miles will lecture on her book, Resurrecting Allegheny City, which takes an historic look at the Northside and its people. The lecture is at 7 p.m. and includes a wine and cheese reception and book signing.
