A car collided with a barrier and flipped over on the I-279 on ramp between Tripoli Street and Spring Garden Avenue around 8:45 a.m.

The driver was not seriously injured, and according to witnesses who observed the accident from the Spring Garden Avenue overpass, he walked out of the car after the accident.

Witnesses said another car cut off the blue Chrysler, forcing the driver into the barrier and causing him to flip.

Paramedics and fire fighters arrived around 9 a.m.  As of then, the on ramp was still open and traffic was moving smoothly.
