Hello Northsiders! Patrick Dowd, Democrat candidate for mayor of Pittsburgh, is coming to the Northside this weekend! He’s pledged to bring leadership now so that the city government serves Pittsburghers, not politicians. You may have seen him giving his “Wake Up Call” this morning about pay-to-play politics in the city.
Last Saturday was the first of Patrick’s “Coffeehouse Canvasses”. He met with residents and business owners at local cafes in Beechview and Carrick before going out to knock on doors and talk to people around the neighborhood.
A Coffeehouse Canvass is a great chance to meet Patrick, hear his plan for Pittsburgh, and ask any questions you might have for him.
This Saturday the Coffeehouse Canvasses will start at
11 AM: The Vault – 3619 California Ave (Brighton Heights)
and
3PM: Amani Int’l – 507 Foreland St (Allegheny East / Central Northside)
