ALLEGHENY WEST — Calvary United Methodist Church will host a neighborhood block party on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The party is open to Northside families, neighbors and NFL Draft visitors, and will include activity stations, face painting, balloons for kids, scavenger hunts, church tours and sensory-friendly activity options.
In addition, GBU North Side Neighborhood, who is organizing the party, will give out 200 shelf-stable birthday cake kits as part of the organization's 134th birthday celebration. GBU North Side Neighborhood is a volunteer-led group that organizes community projects and family events in the community.
Calvary United Methodist Church is located at 971 Beech Ave.
