This weekend and next, the Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse , 1055 Spring Garden Ave., is hosting its annual Wigle Spectacular tree sale.
Those wishing to pick up a tree can stop by on Saturday, December 3 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and there will be a Santa Sighting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Sunday, December 4, the Barrelhouse will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for tree purchases. The sales from this weekend benefit the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh and will feature hot cocktails, free cider for kids and tours of the Barrelhouse. There is also a complimentary hot cocktail with each tree purchase.
Wigle will also be selling trees on Saturday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, December 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This weekend will benefit 412 Food Rescue and feature the same specialties as the previous weekend, including an “Italian Christmas” on December 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time Wigle will release its Fatto A Mano Grappa and feature cocktails by Grapperia from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tree prices are $50 for a Douglas Fir, $50 for a Scotch Pine, and $35 for Mini Trees.
