Food Truck Round-Up at Flashlight Factory Lofts

Looking for an alternative to tailgating on the North Shore? Swing by the Flashlight Factory Lofts on 831 W.  North Avenue from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for a little food truck round-up. Pittsburgh Sandwich Society, Evil Swine BBQ, PGH Taco Truck, Pittsburgh Po Boy and Sinkers and Suds will be the food trucks on site. Adhemas Batista’s Mad House

L.A.-based designer Adhemas Batista will be having a public reception for his latest installation, “Mad House” at the Manchester Craftsman’s Guild (MCG) in Chateau. Batista’s work features inspiration from urban art, pop culture and his Brazilian heritage. The public reception runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the gallery will be available for viewing until January 5, 2018. For more information visit the MCG’s event page.

Cocktail vs. Beer Dinner at Threadbare Cider and Mead

Threadbare Cider and Mead in Spring Garden will be hosting a Cocktail vs. Beer Dinner at 6 p.m. The dinner will be a match-up between Wigle Whiskey-inspired cocktails and East End Brewing. Threadbare executive chef, Jay Wess will provide the menu and each dish will be paired with one Wigle-infused cocktail and one East End brew, guests will then vote on their favorites throughout the evening. Thursday Night Football at Heinz Field

It’s TNF as our Pittsburgh Steelers host the Tennessee Titans on primetime. Stage AE will be hosting a Steelers Tailgate before and during the game. House of Soul will be providing pregame entertainment, doors open at 4:25 p.m., get your terrible towels ready folks!

Propel Northside Dessert Party

Ragtime Piano at The Park House

Thanksgiving Potluck

CrossFit War Streets (located at the YMCA on North Ave.) will be hosting a Thanksgiving Potluck at 10:30 a.m. The event will start off with a Thanksgiving-themed workout followed by a little Turkey Day feasting. Carrying Homelessness Pop-up

Carrying Homelessness will have a pop-up exhibit in the Allegheny Commons Park. The exhibit was created by students from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design and aims to help educate and bring awareness to the homelessness epidemic facing both the city and the nation. The exhibit will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A second pop-up exhibit will take place at Schenley Plaza on Monday, November 20. Django Festival All-Stars

The Manchester Craftsman’s Guild (MCG) Jazz will feature the music of world-renowned Gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt along with guitarist Francko Mehrstein, bassist Gino Roman, violinist Pierre Blanchard, accordion Ludovic Beier and the Schmitt-sibling trio of Dorado, Samson and Amati Schmitt. Chili Competition at Scratch Food & Beverage

Scratch F&B in Troy Hill will be hosting a Chili Competition from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Scratch F&B will provide refreshments and guests can vote on their favorite chili from around the city. The event is $5 at the door, for more information visit the event’s FB page.

Thanksgiving Brunch at AUUC
