Nearly 900 people are owed money by the City of Pittsburgh in amounts ranging from $1 to $6,500.

Residents have until February 15, 2014 to claim these funds. The list of people to claim these funds is posted on the District 1 City Council website at

If your name appears on the list or you do not have access to the internet, contact Council President Harris’ office at 412-255-2135.

Unclaimed money will, by law, be returned to the state of PA.
