By Sean P. Ray | Managing Editor In the September issue, The Northside Chronicle was proud to announce the return of Northside Sandwich Week, a favorite event of the community, which we now organize.. We’re happy to announce that tickets for the event are now on sale.
Simply scan the QR code to the right or visit northsidesandwichweek.com to get your tickets, available for the low price of $25 each. Tickets will also be available at the door, but at an increased $30 price, so purchase them ahead of time if you can! Tickets include admission to our final judging event, which will take place Oct. 27 from 6-9 p.m. at The Priory Hotel.
A group of Northside restaurants will compete to be crowned the Northside Sandwich King or Queen. Competitors include Breadbox, California Coffee Bar, Ida’s Sandwich Shop, North Shore Tavern, Wise County Biscuits & Cafe, Mayfly Market & Deli, Cucina Alfabeto, Penn Brewery and possibly more! Attendees at the final judging event will get the chance to sample sandwiches from each competing restaurant and take part in the voting.

Beyond just being a great event, Sandwich Week is serving as an important fundraiser for The Northside Chronicle. It is only through events such as these that we are able to continue delivering our news for free to the people of the Northside.
