The 82nd Annual Northside Easter Sunrise Service will he held this upcoming Sunday, March 27 at the Observatory in Observatory Hill’s Riverview Park.
The community-wide mass will be an interdenominational service for members from multiple local congregations. The service will start at 6:30 a.m. and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and weather-appropriate attire.
The designated speaker will be Erin Angeli of Riverview Presbyterian Church with fellow congregation partner, Rev. Steven Werth assisting, along with Pastor Ron Pedersen of Mt. Troy United Church of Christ and Rev. Brian F. Shirey of Brighton Heights Lutheran Church.
Music will be provided by Risen to Save, a contemporary Christian band from Lower Burrell. In case of inclement weather, the service will be moved to Riverview Presbyterian Church on Perrsyville Avenue. For more information visit the official website.
