On Thursday, September 13, the life work of Barbara Luderowski, founder of Mattress Factory, was honored with a party at the Northside museum.
Luderowski, known for her dedication to community and creativity, purchased 500 Sampsonia Way in 1975. She died May 30, and last week’s party honored her legacy. It featured a bagpipe tribute from students at Carnegie Mellon University, food provided by All in Good Taste Productions and Gilligan’s Sorbet and drag performances by Kierra Darshell’s Divas of Drag.
