As longtime readers might recall from our February issue, 2025 is the 40th year The Northside Chronicle has been in operation, serving the community by providing all the biggest news and updates.

We’re planning a special celebration to commemorate this accomplishment in July, but we are not quite ready yet to announce details. However, to build anticipation, we’re announcing our 40th Anniversary Subscription Drive, running from May 1 through July 31 to coincide with our planned party.

Anyone who subscribes during the drive will have their name added to a drawing for a $100 gift card to the National Aviary!

This deal applies to all subscription levels, including digital-only subscriptions. As a reminder, we offer six subscription plans, split between print+digital and digital-only. Once you’ve made your choice of format, you can then decide whether you want to subscribe for two years at $110, subscribe for a year at $60 or get a monthly subscription at $7.99 per month.

Anyone who wants to increase their odds of getting the gift card can better their chances by purchasing gift subscriptions for their friends and family. Gift subscriptions can be purchased for both formats and at all the same time frames, and each gift subscription you buy will better your chances. This is also a great way for existing subscribers to get in on the drawing.
