The Northside North Shore Chamber serves the business community in and around the Northside and has been doing so since 1897. We currently have 240 member businesses, and we serve them by promoting, connecting, and supporting.

Here are some of our recent activities and updates.

We’re Hiring!

The chamber team is expanding! We are hiring a full-time Member Relations Manager. As our membership grows, we want to continue to provide the best attention and service to every one of our members.

From the job description: “The Member Relations Manager, working under the supervision of the Executive Director, is responsible for recruiting and retaining chamber members. Key objectives are to: (1) prospect and qualify leads; (2) sell new memberships to non-member firms; (3) provide service to existing members for the purpose of member retention.”

This position pays $35,000-$45,000 plus commission of $5,000-$10,000. A partial-remote work schedule can be discussed.

Find the full job posting on LinkedIn and Indeed or reach out to the chamber office. If you are interested after the application deadline of Friday, May 13, contact the chamber office directly.

Members:

New Members: We were pleased to welcome the following four companies or organizations as new members in the past month: Communities in Schools of Pittsburgh-Allegheny County, Electronic Merchant Systems, EYV Hospitality, and Iota Phi Foundation.

Renewed Members: The following 18 companies renewed their membership in the past month: Birgo Realty, Children’s Museum, Community College of Allegheny County, Fusion Events, Grifols Biomat, HobartHumphrey, Huckestein Mechanical Services, Jeffrey Martin Global Media, KeyBank, LeClaire Griewahn & Scott, National Aviary, Park House, Project Destiny, Propel Northside Community Wellness Center, Siempre Algo, TDS Media, ThistleSea Business Development, and WesBanco.

Signature Events:

Each year, the chamber organizes four signature events, which are larger events to bring together hundreds of people for networking and fun. The events also raise funds for charity partners and for chamber operations.

The signature events for 2022 are as follows:

Annual Business Awards Luncheon – June 1 at Nova Place (Mayor Ed Gainey as keynote speaker, tickets available until May)

Community Night with the Pirates – June 22 on the North Shore ($50 per person for a tailgate, t-shirt, and game ticket)

Annual Charity Golf Outing – September 26 at Chartiers Country Club (this event will sell out, foursome and sponsorship opportunities available)

Annual Holiday Gala – December 1 at Priory’s Grand Hall (back after a two-year hiatus, $100 per ticket)

If you have questions about any of these events, contact the chamber office.

The Northside North Shore Chamber prides itself on being approachable and genuine as we promote, connect, and support our members.
