The official Northside Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Party is a family-friendly event set to be held at the Allegheny Elks Lodge #339 beginning at 7 p.m. with live marching bands, performances, dancing, and crowning of the Mardi Gras King. Allegheny City Brewing: Cajun Cookoff Competition on Sunday, February 23rd from 1:30-3:30PM: Bring your favorite Cajun dish – Po Boy, Gumbo, Beignets, Jambalaya, etc. (Set up by 2PM.) “Like our past cook-offs, everyone here at the time tries the fares and votes on favorite. Prize for winner(s) at 5PM. No entry fee.”
