Thanksgiving Dinner at Rivers Casino

“…Join Rivers Casino Pittsburgh in celebrating Thanksgiving Day with dinner on the second level in Grand View Buffet and on the first floor at Wheelhouse and Andrew’s Steak & Seafood. Each spot will offer home cooked, hearty, holiday selections for all guests. Meals in Grand View Buffet will be available all day long from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wheelhouse will offer specials from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Andrew’s Steak & Seafood will be open from 3-8 p.m. The Thanksgiving meal in Grand View Buffet costs $24.99 plus tax and includes various stations. Meal prices in Wheelhouse and Andrew’s Steak & Seafood vary, based on the course. 18% gratuity will be added to the checks of parties of eight or more. YMCA Turkey Trot

Presented by UPMC Health Plan, the 2019 YMCA Turkey Trot “… is a fun and exciting family tradition that helps support the effort to provide food security to children, families, individuals and seniors in Pittsburgh. The race benefits YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh programs with Y food pantry programs and Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank receiving a goal of 10,000 pounds of donated food.” Click here to register, volunteer, or read the FAQ. Black Friday Party at The Government Center

Family Day 2019 at Mattress Factory

The Royal Trio at Huszar

Huszar is proud to present The Royal Trio direct from Budapest to play Hungary’s most beloved Gypsy Music. Live Performance: Many Nations at MuseumLab

Please join Many Nations in the Assembly Hall of MuseumLab as they share some of the stories and social dances that people would see at native gatherings and powwows across the US. Many Nations Singers is a Native American drum group of families representing some of the diverse nations of this land, including Seneca, Cherokee, Aztec, Tuscarora, Lumbee, Kiowa Apache, Ute, and Seminole tribes. They share and celebrate Native American culture through song, stories, and dancing. Performances are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. More information is available via Facebook.

For World AIDS Day, The Warhol and Visual AIDS present a video screening for the thirtieth annual “Day With(out) Art”. This year’s program, “STILL BEGINNING”, features videos covering broad subject matter from anti-stigma work in New Orleans to public sex culture in Chicago.
