By NSC Staff

On Thursday, June 13th the California Coffee Bar owners, Sarah Mendak and Susie Lobdell, won Brighton Height’s Business of the Year at the Northside Leadership Conference’s 36th Scholarship Awards Dinner. The neighborhood’s only coffee shop recently updated their menu this spring with gluten-free and vegan items like breakfast Frittatas and the Beyond Burger™, the world’s first plant based burger that resembles beef.

Bistro To Go Cafe & Catering in Historic Deutschtown launched their new breakfast menu on June 11th available 8-10:30AM with menu items like signature sugar pecan french toast, fresh stuffed biscuits, breakfast bowls, oatmeal bar and more. In addition to the new menu, Bistro To Go also updated their facade with a new back-lit fabricated metal sign.
