Manchester holds annual African American Heritage Day parade
The annual African American Heritage Day parade kicked off in the Northside on Saturday, August 25 at 11 a.m.

This year’s African American Heritage Day parade began on Pennsylvania Avenue in the Quik-It Chicken parking lot and ended at Manchester Field. Organizations, dance teams, musicians and politicians joined together to support each other and take pride in African American history and culture.
