Darlene Harris presented a proclamation to Observatory Hills’ Schorr Bakery March 2 in celebration of the family-owned business’ 40-plus years on the Northside.

Schorr is known for its made-from-scratch baked goods, in particularly the ‘Gem’ pastries, which are a sort of local delicacy.
